We had the pleasure of talking to writer, emerging curator and gallery associate Chloe Borich about the best advice she's ever received and her most loved thing about being a woman.
Your most loved thing about being a woman in 2022?
The definition of what it means to be a woman in 2022 is ever-evolving. Having the ability to tap into the unwavering connection between other like-minded women is particularly special to me. Whether it be exchanged with women in passing on the street and on dance floors, or with the one who birthed you and the sister who grew beside you, being a part of a shared, collective feminine energy is a formidable thing.
What gives you hope?
People power. Smiling strangers. Urban beekeeping. Tending to a garden. Conversations that last for hours. Kismet.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? And the worst?
The best advice I've ever received is to always know your worth and to value your craft, whatever that may be. As for the worst, I guess it's all relative to where I am now somehow.
